Kalbarri National Park Wildflowers
Today we backtracked from Denham back south to Kalbarri, through the Kalbarri National Park. The park still has many wildflowers in bloom. So here is a collection of photos from both the way up and the way back today.

Dolphin Feeding Time at Monkey Mia
This morning we got up early to drive over to Monkey Mia, which is solely a RAC resort, to watch the wild dolphins come into the beach to be fed. They only feed a few nowadays as they have discovered that rampant feeding to all comers has caused problems with natural survivability of the calves. Also, if you look closely, you can see a sea tortoise cruising by.

Denham and Shark Bay, WA
Today we travelled nearly 400k north from Kalbarri to Denham, Shark Bay WA. This is about Australia's most westerly place and town. The water colour is fantastic, alongside white sands and landscapes of various colours. The wildflowers along the road today and through Kalbarri National park were great. I think we were lucky to have so many this late in the year.
lots of pinks and reds
A grevillea, we think?
