Newcastle

Arrived here in the Newcastle area about lunchtime after a casual drive along the Hunter Valley from Muswellbrook. I visited the main beach "Nobbys head" area for a while, and then headed south to visit Whitney & Steve Wattam at Coal Point. I was with this Couple in Vietnam last year and with Steve on the bike ride in Tibet the year before.  They have a nice house on the water "Lake Macquarie". After Nice coffee and some lunch, I headed north to my Nephews house at Medowie, north of Newcastle.

My phone does not work here, no signal despite being a built up suburb of over 10,000 people. Good one Vodaphone.
