A long time between posts.
Fear not, this intrepid traveller will soon be on the road again, this time heading to South America.
Leaving Melbourne on the 19th of Feb, I will be island hopping across the pacific, through Auckland, Tahiti and Easter Island, spending a few days in each place and arriving in Santiago, Chile on Friday night the 26th of Feb.
My friend Bill will be meeting me in Santiago and we will spend the next month exploring Southern Chile and Argentina, including a side trip from Buenos Aires to Montevideo in Uruguay and then up to Iguazu falls. It is here that Bill and I will probably part ways and I will head back to Santiago in Chile and Bill will probably go to Brazil to fly onto his destination of Southern Africa,
When I get back tom Santiago, I join another group and start a motorcycle tour of northern Chile, Bolivia and finish at Cuszco in Peru with Maccu Piccu. We fly from Santiago on the 22 Mar to Iquique in Northern Chile (near Atacama desert) and then travel overland through Bolivia on Motorbikes to Peru,

After finishing the motorbike tour in April, my plan is to travel north through Peru, Equador and Colombia, then head across the Caribbean to Jamaica and then Cuba and the the USA. Not sure yet how I am going to travel from Cuba to USA, things are changing but I may have to go via third country. After that , the plan is to explore the Mississippi delta, New orleans, Nashville , Memphis etc etc.
