We are in a town called Ollague, on the Bolivian border with Chile. Today, although there was a lot of dirt, was the best days riding so far. The views were spectacular all the way, although we were at a pretty high altitude (3500-4000 mts) most of the time. There are Volcanoes everywhere through this region, some with little plumes of steam and gas wisping from near the top. It was to cold, sun was really bright but it was very windy in parts.
I am surprised we have internet at this place as it is very remote and not much here, except a railway station where you can catch a train to Bolivia. I think this is the place where the presenter caught a train in the TV show "great railway journeys of the world".
I am only going to attach a few pics as internet is slow.
