Another full day on the road, with occasional coffee and pee stops. The scenery has changed subtly as we have moved south, more crops and farming, better roads and increased human activity. It seems all a bit soft after the north. But lots of tunnels, 22 yesterday and around 13 today, the longest was about 7.8 km.
Today we made it just short of Trondheim, we found a camping/cabin place which is a little less expensive than the average $200 a night cheap hotel.
Did I mention that Norway was expensive? According to Insider Monkey, Norway is the Most Expensive Country in the world in 2014, followed by Switzerland and Denmark (we are going there too).
I know Lake Baikal in Russia holds 20% of the worlds unfrozen fresh water, but gee Norway must come close. It has 450,000 freshwater lakes containing 1200 cubic km of water, add this to the sea water of the Fjords which seem to be all around all the time and there is a heck of a lot of water here. No wonder they don't bother with water saving shower heads.
