Another interesting day today, sightseeing to Durbar Square, the original 12th century heart of Kathmandu and later onto the Monkey Palace, which is high up in the surrounding hills and looks over the Kathmandu Valley. However today was possibly the worst day to go as it is Budda's birthday (happy Birthday Budda) and as a result the Monkey Palace w as open to all free and there were thousands of people there, jam packed. Pics below.
When we go back to the Hotel, the motorbikes had arrived ready for our trip to Daman tomorrow.
Now enjoying Icy cold beer in local cafe. Pre dinner drink.
