Looking for Uncle Ho
Well I have arrived in Ho Chi Minh City (aka Saigon) and it is hot (35c) and sunny with clear blue skies, heavy chaotic traffic and a million motorcycles. Checked into the hotel about 5pm and then went for walk in the local streets, lots of markets and shops, seems fairly central here. Decided to have dinner and beers in Hotel, Singapore Noodles and 4 beers (happy hour) cost me 250,000 dong (A quarter of a million) which is about $16, not bad and I could have got cheaper.
Internet Access is painfully slow at hotel, but so far, working.
