Malaysia - Land of a thousand lunches

Hi,

Slow start this morning, had a terrify nights sleep last night, 6.5 hours with no break, wacko.

Finally got up about 8am, watched the latest Fortitude episode and then wandered out into the heat to get some coffee and breakfast. A leisurely pace and time to do the Age Suduko and Crossword.

Yoga picked me up around 12 and we went to his flash Golf club for Lunch and beers, overlooking the fairways. After lunch, he took me to his brother-in-law's house where we had more food and beer, we then went to the local suburb (place name cannot recall) which is world famous for it's satays.  We had beef, mutton and chicken satays, washed down with beers and a torrential downpour of rain, which took the edge of the heat. This was followed by back to Yoga's house for a home cooked chicken curry with rice and salads, washed down with a bottle of Spanish red wine. Followed by Watermelon and jack fruit. Life is tough.

They sure like their food here.

Tomorrow it is off to Port Dixon and Malacca for the day, all being well. Maybe Monday I will get to visit KL central.

signing off, LB
