Hannover

A quick stop at Hannover, we arrived early afternoon and managed to get some lunch and go our own ways for the rest of the afternoon. I went shopping for even more shirts. Time to toss some of the old ones out. Today, just a few snaps of the city centre. Joys day was only a bit more exciting, she went further through the city and went to The Lands Museum.

This manhole cover was interesting not for its design, but that it was singing to us. Somewhere beneath this cover was a loudspeaker, piping German singing and music into the square near the railway station. See next pic.

  2. Love the architecture. And if the manhole cover is over the sewer it begs the question on the quality of the music. Are you there Arno? I know you're watching you quiet bastard!
