Stockholm Day 3

Today was much like yesterday, 25C light breeze and sunny. A later start today as nothing really opens until  11am on a Sunday.  First stop was a market in the centre of town, usual stuff and nothing of real interest.

Next stop was Gamla Stan to find the Glenfiddich Warehouse and have some lunch.  Unfortunately, it has both changed its name and, is not open of a Sunday. Lunch was elsewhere. Then a little shopping in Gamla Stan, it has nice things there, especially off the main tourist street.

Me outside the ex Glenfiddich Warehouse

Next stop was the Royal Palaces, heavy focus on the time of Gustav 3rd in 17???? and his son, who apparently lost Finland to the Russians after Sweden had held it for 600 years previously. The Swedes were not amused.

After the Royal Palace, we finally made it to a Stockholm Museum and it was the Norsk Museum, which heavily features Swedish Craft and culture, It had handicrafts, Fashion, Furniture, Cooking,  Toys, Writing implements, Photography, Clocks, Jewellery, and other Swedish stuff. It was good but we only had 1 hour before it closed so it was a bit rushed.
