Oslo Catch up

Having been in OSLo a few hours, we had the opportunity to do a bit of pre exploring before tomorrow, take a few more pics and catch up on a few I missed earlier. Mainly of Lillehammer, where they held the 1994 Winter Olympics, it was on the HfH mentioned earlier. Lillehammer was typical of small tourist/ski resort towns. Expensive shops and bored youth.

It is 11pm now and there is a bit of light left in the sky, but not much. It is nice to have a bit of night again, even if it only lasts a few hours, now that we are down south.

The internet at this hotels crap, very slow.

Here are Pics

Telsa electric sports cars, I think I have seen 5 this afternoon, these two red ones parked next to each other, a blue one and 2 black ones (or possibly the same one twice). There are a lot of electric cars in Norway, the Nissan Leaf is quite common.

  1. You see pics of Scandinavia but these are more 'European' than I'd have thought or expected. Time to change am impression long held.

  2. Didn't you call in to Frank's bar in Lilyhammer for a drink with him and his crew?

  3. In Lillehammer, I doubt I could afford to have a drink in Frank's bar. It's for the Norwegian uber rich.
