Highway from Hell - Olso we have arrived!

Yes Blogettes, we are back on air, after traversing the Highway from Hell, via Kristiansund, (where we had the tyre fixed by the nice man from Peugeot) and then detouring via the Atlantic Road, we meandered along the E6 (highway from Hell) towards Oslo. Because the aforementioned E6 (HfH) was so slow going, (average about 50 kph) we only made it as far as Otta last night and then a camping site (cabins) 5 km south of Otta with no internet. Joy thought it was nice, it was a log cabin and it had cherry trees and what we think was red currants bushes and a big river passing by. Hence delayed report.

Although the scenery along the way was pretty special, even when it was raining most of the time. We did pass some massive mountain/cliff where the  Darwin principle was actively at work, listing all the climbers and base jumpers  (including three Australians) who didn't come home from their adventure expedition. It was called Trollveggen but I have no idea why.

So today, after negotiating with more of the E6 (HfH) which finally allowed a speed limit of 100 kph (but was tolled, not trolled) for about 20k when roadworks kicked in and we where back to 50kph for the next 40 min until the last 20-30km into Oslo. Which is where we are now.

Here are pics and Vids

Some foxes happily laying around at the Kristiansund camp site. Not at all phased by tourists.

Trollveggen (don't ask why there is a Herbie Police car in the field, it is Norway)
