Halloween

Yes Folks, it is halloween, which is a big thing in these parts. The doorbell has been ringing with regularity since about 7pm.

This morning was a trip to Cathedral Grove in McMillan park. A walk amongst 600 yo western red cedars and the like. This was followed by a trip to the Old Time Market with Goats on the Roof, but alas no goats today.

After lunch,  Dean had arranged a tour at a local Guitar Making School about 40 km up the road. The guys were very obliging and gave us about an 1hr  tour.

Tonight we came back  home and had a Indian dinner take away and waited for the trick or treaters to turn up, which they did.

Western Red Cedars are really red.
