Terelj National Park and Ghengis Khan Monument

just a quick note today, let the pictures do the talking. I went with some others from the Hostel to a local national park and afterwards to a giant steel statue of Ghengis Khan.

Birds were Golden Eagle and Vulture, saw some Gers (tents) and  a Ger cat.

internet weak so have to hurry, up at 5am tomorrow for another national park tour.

notice the little statues of Marx, Stalin and Hitler.

  3. Mongolians certainly know how to promote national pride. The Big Genghis puts the Big Ned in the shade -- and as for the Big Boot, that easily punts the Big Pineapple into next week. --- The Big Bro.
