Back In Buenos Aries

Its Wednesday the 16th of March, tomorrow is St Pats Day and the day Bill and I part ways. He will be up at 6am to catch a series of Planes to Sth Africa, starting with BA to Sao Paulo, Brasil, then to Johannesburg and lastly to Cape Town. It will be a big trip.

The apartment we have booked this time in Buenos Aries is great, it has two bedrooms, a kitchen, seperate lounge and en suites for each bedroom. It is 80 M2. See Pics.

We got the 11am ferry from Montevideo, getting to the apartment in BA about 2pm. I got some togs for swimming as I left mine at home. I had been using shorts but they take too long to dry normally.

Last night, we went to an Uruguayan Tango bar (yes they claim they invented it as well) and watched some live musical then dancing. It was OK and the grog was plentiful. See Pics

Tonight, we went to the Palermo region of Buenos Aires, which seems very upmarket and flash. It is full of nice restaurants and bars.

After eating most of what we ordered ( a cow had died tonight) we were stuffed and have come back to hotel for a relatively early night.

Tomorrow, I leave for Mendoza so I will be on a bus for a while and may not post tomorrow night.
