This is the Groups first get together tonight, Hugo, our Mexican guide is the smiley one in the dark shirt on the left. The guy at the near end of the table is Howard, from Essex in the UK and the other four, a couple (on right) Peter & Jill and two single guys (Malcolm and Tony) on left are all from Queensland. In total there will be 6 riders, including Hugo the guide. Jill will be a pillion.
The meal was excellent, and paid for by Compass as a welcome to the tour. It was mostly seafood but I had some steak. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We jointly shared the cost of drinks.
Tomorrow, we are leaving at around 12 to go to the airport to catch a plane to Iquique. The trucks and the bikes left yesterday by road.
