First Ride

After arriving this afternoon from Santiago to Iquique,  it was not long after settling in at hotel that we were assembled for a riding briefing and given an opportunity for a first introductory ride. We rode around the urban area of Iquique and then went up on a very high road that seems to sit about a 1000 mtrs above the city and sea level. It was getting dark and the city was just a flickering sea of a thousand lights, it looked pretty  but we did not stop so no photo. After getting to the top, we turned around and come back down  again and then filled up wth Petrol.

By this time it is 9.30 - 10 pm and no one felt like going out for dinner so some of us grabbed  a snack at the hotel.
