Glen Coe - Glasgow

Well last night in Scotland, today we travelled down from Fort William (via Glen Coe) to Glasgow. It mostly rained all day so not a lot of pics.

This afternoon, we did housekeeping and chucked out whatever we could to lighten to baggage for the next stage of the journey. Also sorted what paperwork we need, etc.

Pics are of Glen Coe, a place on the road from Glasgow to Fort William and scenes of some historic battles I believe. It is a very picturesque place, especially if it wasn't raining.

Tomorrow it is off to the  airport after breakfast, drop the car off by about 11.30 and then get on a 2pm flight to Iceland, arriving about 4.30 UK time.

  1. Have been through Glen Coe & Fort William, but we picked a sunny day.
Glasgow is the birth place of John Neil (1795) G,G,G,G,Grandfather, but I think they all migrated (while the going was good). Enjoying the scenery.

  2. No choice with the weather, it was still very beautiful through the raindrops.
