Last day in Stromness

Our last day in Stromness today. Slow start with a walk along the main street to the South end, The street changes names about 8 times, I guess when you are as old as Stromness, at some stage or other, everyone gets a go at street naming. We went to the Museum, which has a lot of Naval stuff and history of merchant sailing. Also noticed a building where Eliza Fraser one lived.  I photographed the Bear again and Joy found a cat to be friends with.

After lunch, Joy read a book and watched some new Wallander episodes. Tonight its off to dinner with the gallery owner where Joy has her work and then early tomorrow, we sail on the ferry back to mainland Scotland (weather permitting). But today has been better than forecast so lets hope it stays good for another 24 hrs.

  1. Nice photo of Joy with the cat, but it looks a tad cold. Where too next? Greetings from all in DPM.
