The Short One taking over (as usual)

Hi Blogettes, this is 'the short one', I will be corresponding with you today as the 'lucky one' is having a night off & is relaxing in the background.
Today the weather was changing, we had a mostly overcast day with a few welcome patches of sunshine, but by the end of the day when we were safely ensconced in our room it turned quite cool & it rained heavily. We will start with our return to Yellowstone National Park for our last geological adventure from our overnight stop at Gardiner just north of the Park. Today we explored part of the northwest, our destination being Tower Falls. On the way we saw quite a few cars stopped & the occupants looking through cameras & binoculars into the far distance...birdies ? probably not, maybe looking for wolves.....
We certainly did not see any, our wildlife experiences so far have been bison, different varieties of deer/elk, squirrels & other fast skittish little critters, as well as big pesky ravens & soaring birds.
After Tower Falls we returned on the same road as there are road closures already in place.
Next stop was Mammoth Hot Springs, as the name hints a HUGE spring that according to the park guide is continually evolving & changing. Onwards towards Bozeman via Paradise Valley & Livingston.

'are you looking at me..?
