We had our tour to see the Northern Lights tonight but it was a No Show. The weather was very good, it was a clear sky, a full moon (which although not ideal, made the waiting more pleasant) and not that cold - about 10c out of the wind and possibly 5c when in the breeze.
The Lights just did not appear tonight, at least not by 1.30 am when we got back. Possibly will in the next few hours but forecast is for quiet. Luckily, the tour company gives you another go if the Lights do not show, so we will be back (tonight now) again for another go. Forecast for tonight is a bit stronger for a show, but that can change easily.
