Last Day in Hanoi

Well my Hanoi visit has nearly come to an end. Tonight, I am having dinner with my friends Greg, Lisa and Chris, it is also their last night. I will not take the camera tonight, therefore I can post early.

Today was much the same as yesterday, wandered through streets of the old quarter this morning before the heat really kicked in, back to hotel for siesta in the hottest part of the day. A late lunch and then a few hours to research Sapa and get ready for tonight.

Early start tomorrow, bus all day to Sapa and not sure how internet will be there so there may not be a post tomorrow.

  2. Doug,
Sounds like you have had a great time so far. I guess the weathers does heat up this time of the year over there and will continue to do so. Plenty of beers and ice-creams have to be the answer. You must have about 7 weeks to go before heading home. Is that correct?
We are just back from Tokyo where we had nice weather about 26- 27 most of the time and little humidity.
    Regards
    Graeme

    1. Cooler up here in the hills, but very hot in Hanoi, not a place to go from May to September.
